I knew Kent Mairs when we were both at Emporia State (then KSTC) and he was one wild and crazy fellow. A handsome devil who drove a '59 Chevy he called Old Yeller. He said he had an old MG MTA but I never saw it. He could party better than the best of them. But I loved that guy: most genuine, loyal, and honest guy I ever met. Last I heard of him he was in Vietnam in the special forces.
